Air India Launched Non-Stop Jaipur-Agra Flight

Traveling in the north of India is more convenient than ever, Air India launched a new flight (AI9687 & AI9688, 42/72 seats) between Agra and Jaipur in December 2017. Now there are three direct flights a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday only) between these two cities. The flight AI9687 is scheduled to depart from Jaipur at 11:25 a.m. and arrive in Agra at 12:05 p.m., the return flight AI9688 will take off from Agra at 12:25 p.m. and arrive in Jaipur at 13:15 p.m. (local time).

Jaipur is famous for various palaces and the gem processing industry and Agra is renowned as the Taj Mahal. As the top tourist attractions in India, Agra and Jaipur attract a sizeable volume of tourists every year. Before this flight launched, travelers have to spend five hours on the road. Currently, the journey is just under one hour. Although in order to enjoy historical sites (e.g. Fatehpur Sikri, a fascinating ghost city built in the 16th century) or full of wonderful sights on the way, traveling by car is still the first choice.
