About This Trip
The first stop of this nine-day trip will be Kathmandu, the nation's capital and home to a number of UNESCO-listed stupas, monasteries, and temples, including the stunning Swayambhu Stupa and the 5th-century Boudhanath Stupa. After that, a private transfer will take you to Chitwan National Park, where you may embark on a river safari or a jungle hike to witness one-horned rhinos, which are severely endangered. Before your vacation to Nepal comes to a close in the Thamel District of Kathmandu, explore Pokhara, a quiet city renowned for its beautiful views of the Annapurna snow ranges.

Day 1: Arrival, Kathmandu
Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal! Upon arrival, you are greeted by our representative. Be transferred to your hotel where your tour guide helps you check in and brief you about the following tours. Relax and recover from jet lag at the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley
After breakfast, start your exploration of Kathmandu Valley from Ason Tole Vegetable & Spice Market which offers a vivid local life of Nepali people. Discover Kathmandu's rich culture among the bustling narrow streets and many courtyards which forms the base of living in Kathmandu. Continue your visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square where you will see the Kumari Temple housing the living Goddess. Have an external view of Taleju Temple and Kala Bhairav.
In the afternoon, step into the Temple of Swayambhunath - a stupa on the top of the hill - for an overlook the scenery of Kathmandu Valley. Later, proceed to Patan City (about 15 minutes' driving) to visit the Patan Durbar Square - one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 3: Kathmandu Valley
After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa.
In the afternoon, you will be escorted to Bhaktapur City where you will discover Bhaktapur Durbar Square, one of the seven UNESCO's World Heritage Sites of the Kathmandu Valley. Later, continue to the oldest temple in the Kathmandu Valley, Changu Narayan Temple which boasts a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. Drive back to Kathmandu.
In the evening, you can do some shopping around the Thamel streets on your own.

Day 4: Kathmandu - Chitwan (Approx. 5 Hours)
After breakfast, take a 4-5 hours' drive to Chitwan by private car. The royal Chitwan National Park is 158.6 km South West of Kathmandu. It is famous for its variety of wildlife especially the Great Indian One-horned Rhinoceros and the exclusive Royal Bengal Tiger.
After arrival, your lodge guide will give you a brief introduction to your Chitwan program. After lunch, start your jungle activities according to the schedule.
Note: Being a responsible travel agent, we arrange a jeep ride instead of the elephant ride inside the Chitwan National Park, thus no animal abuse will be involved during your trip.

Day 6: Chitwan - Pokhara (Approx. 5-6 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Pokhara (approx. 5-6 hrs). En-route, pay a visit to Bandipur Village - a hilltop settlement in Tanahu District as well as a living museum of Newari culture. This well-preserved town has many fine examples of 18th-century architecture, as well as small cafes, shops, and temples. Upon your arrival at Pokhara, check into your hotel and the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 7: Pokhara, City Highlights
Today, you will have a full day private tour of the second largest city in Nepal - Pokhara. Laid out alongside a lake and encircled by the spectacular mountain scenery of the Annapurna Range, Pokhara is the paradise of adventure and leisure.
In the morning, take a private boat ride to experience the charm and serenity of Phewa Lake. Later, ascend to World Peace Pagoda, a perfect viewpoint which provides a panoramic view of Phokara and Phewa Lake. Followed by the visit to Devi's Fall, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave, and International Mountain Museum.

Day 8: Pokhara - Kathmandu
Start a bit earlier for your journey to Sarangkot viewpoint to for the unforgettable sunrise over the mountain peaks. Rest at one of the cafes atop the mountain, relax and enjoy the unforgettable sunrise over the mountain peaks.
Fly back to Kathmandu, take an afternoon walk leisurely around Thamel District - a heaven for tourists visiting the city including its fascinating streets. Continue to pay a visit to Garden of Dreams, a neoclassical historical garden in a beautiful design inspired by the famous Edwardian style.
