Reviews about This Tour
This tour rating 5 out of 5 based on 8 reviews.
The hotels on the tour met our expectations. The rooms were spacious and quiet and in good locations. Breakfasts were all excellent. Hotel staff were always attentive and interested in our Nepalese experience.
Airport meeting and transfers were great. It was a relief to know we were immediately welcomed and taken care of on arrival. On our return from Pokhara to Kathmandu, the Odyssey representative approached us in the airport terminal before we could look for him. Excellent service.
Our local guide in Kathmandu, Shirish (Shiri) was the best guide! He was attentive, efficient and vigilant. He introduced ‘local’ experiences daily bringing us to a primary school, local markets and a festival visit in a temple. He called our rooms to make sure the hotel rooms were satisfactory. When we left Kathmandu for Pokhara, Shiri contacted us several more times to ensure everything was running smoothly.
Our driver, Mr. Kesa was excellent. He was a patient, careful, and skillful driver. He went out of his way to ensure our safety and comfort. One evening, he waited for us after dinner to drive us back to the hotel even though our touring was finished earlier in the afternoon.
This was our third Odyssey Tour and we would not hesitate to book with them again. We look forward to our next Asian adventure.
We spent 13 days in Nepal- private tour organized by Don Li at India Odyssey.
The local office representative in Kathmandu, Mr Nidesh, arranged everything smoothly with no stress or bother to us.
Our cultural guides, Buddhist (Kathmandu) and Bidur (Pokhara), were knowledgeable and very enjoyable to work with.
The time we spent at Jungle Villa was very impressive. The resort is very comfortable, the staff was excellent. We were very impressed by the program and felt the educational briefings were essential to our enjoyment. Everyone should go there.
We spent 4 days trekking a very small corner of the Annapurna range- the mountain views were awesome!
Our Trekking guide, GB, saw to all of our needs very well. I found the trekking very challenging, but he stayed by my side- encouraging me and making sure I was safe. I absolutely recommend his services as excellent. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, the food excellent (and quite a bargain)!
In almost every aspect of the trip- our guides were there waiting for us to take us where we were scheduled to go.
In all, but one case, our guides were ready and waiting for us to arrive.
There is a difference between a vacation and an adventure.
India Odyssey gave us the adventure of a lifetime!
The tour programme was superb and beyond our expectations. All the lunches were wonderful and we always had the best table. Every boat was private for just the two of us. I have to say we felt like royalty everyday.
We wanted to take the time to communicate how much we have enjoyed your Odyssey Tour company. Apple did an awesome job for us and was very kind and thoughtful. We feel that Apple gets a six star review. Tracey was very kind and amazing to work with. We give Tracey a six star review. Thank you having such great people!
