About This Trip
This week-long journey is specially designed for those who have limited time and prefer to explore Sri Lanka in a leisurely pace. Negombo, a serene seaside village where you can learn about locals' way of life along the shore, is where you start. In Pinnawala, which is the next stop, you can have fun with elephants and watch them take a river bath. You'll see the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, the nation's holiest Buddhist shrine, and take in a traditional dance performance after you reach the sacred city of Kandy. You will have enough time to unwind at the exquisitely maintained fortified port city of Galle, which is home to a 17th-century Dutch Fort, before finishing your journey in the energetic Colombo metropolis.
