Recommended Hotels near Delhi's Intl Airport: from Economic to First-class

Where to stay near Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport is serious when taking an India trip. Since the airport is 16 kilometers north of the city center, if you are transiting via India or wish to stay close to the airport for a morning flight, below are my suggestions for a comfortable stay from economic to first-class.

Situated between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, Ibis Delhi Airport offers free airport transfer that saves time calling a cab. High-speed Wi-Fi is available in rooms. The heated swimming pool and fitness center are beyond anticipation. It's also a pet-friendly hotel though not an animal was in sight when I was there. The bonus would be their nice breakfast options: the wide selection of food really caters to both veg and non-veg. Ibis has lived up to its philosophy of "providing standardized service with cutting-edge price".

Aiming to take guests' taste buds on a culinary ride, the hotel offers a 24/7 coffee shop featuring multi-cuisine, a pan-Asian restaurant and a hip recreation bar. Spacious guest rooms are smartly furnished and equipped with air-conditioners. The bonus would be the orthopaedic mattress and the gymnasium, giving a good sleep to tired flyers and keep them feeling fresh as a lemon.

3. Comfortable Hotel: Holiday Inn New Delhi International Airport (4 Star)

Frequent travelers may have been familiar with Holiday Inn, one of the biggest multinational brands of hotels in the world. Besides, the smoke-free property has an outdoor pool and 265 air-conditioned rooms - you won't believe they all include fireplace and iPod docking stations! Newly built in 2014, the hotel adopted contemporary furniture designs and ideas, with a lounge showcasing delicate plane miniatures on the wall, which shall be a great surprise to aviation fanatics. In terms of location and facilities, it is ideal for a business or leisure traveler.
