Upon arrival at India Gandhi International Airport, you are greeted by a private representative and escorted to the hotel. After a brief introduction of your India tour, you will check in to have some free time on your own to adjust to the new time zone.
After breakfast, you will begin a New Delhi highlights tour to passing by those city landmarks of India Gate, President's House, Parliament House & Government Secretariat Buildings. Continue to visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and the Humayun's tomb, which tells story of a great era.
Later, take a visit to the 800-year-old Qutub Minar, known as India's largest Minaret. Admire the father of India at the Raj Ghat. Finish the day with an insight into the divine Laxmi Narayan Temple.
In the morning, you will have an in-depth half-day old Delhi tour including Jama Masjid and the rickshaw rides through the heritage & Bazaar, off the beaten path back-street walk and some street food adventures. If you like, come across the local Indian people and enjoy lunch of traditional Indian meals in haveli. What's an authentic way to experience the real side of life in Delhi!
Head to Agra this afternoon (about 4.5 hours' drive) by private A/C car, with stopover for coffee break or photo opportunities at your request any time en-route. On arrival, check in at hotel and enjoy your free time.
This morning takes you to breathtaking Taj Mahal to free you from the crowds and heat in daytime. Just indulge yourself in its amazing architecture, history and beauty. Continue to discover the palatial Royal Pavilions at the red sandstone Agra Fort for a glimpse of the royal Mughal lifestyle.
After sightseeing, you will be welcomed by a local family and enjoy an authentic Indian lunch with your host. Try Masala Chai (Indian Spice Milk Tea) and you will fall in love with it immediately. The chat with the host will definitely enrich your experience in Agra.
End this day at Mehtab Bagh which is also called Moonlight Garden, where you could enjoy the sunset over Taj Mahal if the weather is nice.
Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
After hotel checkout, head west to Jaipur (approx. 5 hours) stopping en route to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the former royal city and capital of Emperor of Akbar, boasting one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendor at its height. Followed by a photo stop at the fabulous Abhaneri Step Well (without guide service). Upon arrival, check in to your Jaipur hotel and rest of the day is at your leisure.
After breakfast, visit hillside Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the state; inside you'll also experience the kingly palaces incl. the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors).
Drive back to the 'pink city' of Jaipur and stop at facade of the famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) for the best angle of a perfect picture. Continue to the City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar - the largest stone observatory in world that still in service today.
Your final stop today is to uncover the Mehandi (Henna Painting) from applying it on your hands and learn how to dress an Indian Saree of different color and materials at a local saree shop.
Drive to the desert oasis of Pushkar this morning (about 2 hours' drive), a town that clings to the side of the divine Pushkar Lake. You will walk around the lake to experience the peaceful and quiet, where pilgrims and sadhus come to pay their respect. Continue to visit the Brahma Temple, the only temple in the world for Hindus to worship the Lord Brahma.
Note: Pushkar is a completely vegetarian town and also alcohol free.
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur (about 4 hours' drive). Upon arrival, visit the famous Meherangarh Fort, a massive complex standing at the hillside with fantastic views of the old city of Jodhpur and the imposing Jaswant Thada.
Today a jeep safari will take you to the rural Bishnoi Village, an interesting way to access the traditional way of life. And then follow the winding narrow alleys at Clock Tower to explore the local markets which is full of textiles, silver and handicrafts.
Ranakpur is a little village tucked away in the Aravalli hills between Udaipur and Jodhpur (about 2 hours' drive). The tour today brings you to one of the biggest and most important clusters of Jain temples in India. Built in marble and supported by over 1,444 exquisitely carved marble pillars with no two of which are alike. Head to Udaipur (about 4 hours' drive) after the tour.
This morning, you first wander through the markets and bazaars to visit the Jagdish Temple, a center of constant activity, followed by a visit to the City Palace, of which the main part is now a museum with a large and varied collection of mosaics, glass and porcelain figures, miniatures and paintings.
After that, you will take a shared motor boat ride on Lake Pichola (1 hour), before heading for the Garden of the Maids of Honour and Folk Art Museum. Finish the day by a unforgettable sunset visit to the Sajjan Garh Palace (Monsoon Palace).
Enjoy a free morning before heading to the airport for the flight to Delhi to connect your onward flight.

Day 1: Arrival, Mumbai at Leisure

Today you start from an early morning visit to the Kamla Nehru Park and the Hanging Gardens situated on Malabar Hill, and a stroll on Marine Drive and the Chowpatty Beach. Later visit the Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan, and the Dhobi Ghat, a well known open air laundromat in Mumbai. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3: Mumbai Sightseeing
After breakfast, head for the world-famous 1200 years old Elephanta Caves across the Bombay Harbor, where you will see the famous sculpture signifying the trinity of the Creator - the Preserver & the Destroyer. The rest of the day is your free time.
Day 4: Departure Flight
After breakfast, you will have some free time and in time transfer to Mumbai airport for onward flight.

Normally, India Odyssey Tours put breakfast in your itinerary except for in Bhutan (all meals included). Lunch won’t be included for the sake of tour convenience, while dinner is also excluded as some travelers might want a little culinary adventure themselves. But surely your tour guide/driver is always glad to offer their advice.
It is normally served at the hotel where you stay. Depending on the hotel, the breakfast would be in western style, local style, or a combination.
Usually lunch won’t be included considering the fact that sometimes travelers may want to stay somewhere longer/shorter or need other minor changes during daily sightseeing, and it’s better to decide the lunch site then rather than pre-arranging it. For sure our tour guides/drivers will be happy to advice good places to you, and we strongly suggest qualified local restaurant or hotels around the scenic spots for the sake of your health.
