Day 1: Arrival, Paro
This trekking tour of Druk Path Trek is designed to give you a full perspective of the gorgeous natural landscape, visiting ancient lhakhangs, dzongs and meeting with the local villagers.
On your arrival, your local guide and driver will meet and escort you to your hotel. After lunch, visit the highlights of Paro, including the Ta Dzong, the Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang and the Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort). On a clear day, you can enjoy the view of Mount Jumolhari, Bhutan's second highest mountain at 7,314 meters/ 24,000 feet in height.

Day 2: Acclimatization Hike to Tiger's Nest
After breakfast, head for the hike starting point and hike to the Tiger's Nest (Paro Taktsang). It takes about 1.5 hours to hike up to the viewpoint and enjoy an incredible view of this cliff-clinging monastery. After refreshments, you will continue to hike further up to the monastery which will take about another 1.5 hours. Afterward, walk back downhill to the road with lunch at the viewpoint cafeteria. Later, visit Kyichu temple, one of the oldest temples, with its own charm.

Day 3: Trekking Begin
Your trek today begins from the National Museum from where the trek trail climbs gradually up till reaching the camp. The Paro valley and snow-capped mountains behind can be seen en route. Above the camp is Jele La Dzong (3,400m) with the statute of Buddha Sakyamuni.

Day 4: Jele Dzong - Jangchulakha
Before your trek, you can explore around the Jele Dzong. Today's trek begins with 1.5 hours' climb and takes you crossing the Jele La (3,490 m/ 11,450 ft). You may encounter yak herders around your campsite.

Day 5: Jangchulakha - Jimilangtsho
The trail starts steeply to the Jangchulakha (4,180 m/ 13,714 ft). The views of the mountains and valleys are stunning on a clear day. You will arrive at the camp beside the Jimilangtsho lakes descending from the pass. Also there are great views of Jichu Drake (6,989 m/ 22,930 ft in height).

Day 6: Jimilangtsho - Simkota
Today's trek starts from the lower end of the lake and then descends to a single stone shelter, followed by an ascent to a summit at 4,050 m to overlook the Janetsho Lake. You may come across the local yak herders camp and learn how these people live. Camping closes to the Simkota Lake for overnight.

Day 7: Simkota - Phajodhing - Thimphu
Today the trail turns uphill and you will enjoy the majestic view of Mount Gangkar Puensum and other peaks. Later, walk downhill to a community hall near Phajodhing. Continue to trek to Thimphu and pass through a forested area of mostly blue pine. On arrival, check into hotel in Thimphu.

Day 8: Thimphu - Punakha
After breakfast, depart for Punakha via the Dochula pass (about 1 hour's drive), where you will have a superb view of the Eastern Himalayas on a clear day with a powerful binocular telescope. Visit the beautiful 108 chortens built on the hill and the Druk Wangye Temple that tells the story of a supreme warrior figure. Continue to Punakha by private vehicle. Later, discover the Khamsum Yuley Temple, which is a great temple to study the symbolic meanings from frescoes and sculptures.

Day 9: Punakha - Evening Transfer to Paro
After breakfast visit the Punakha Dzong, its massive Kuenray and the cantilever bridge over the Mochu that has been recently renovated. Drive to Paro Valley and stop at Lobesa to visit the Divine Madman's Monastery - Chimi Lhakhang. Enjoy your lunch at the Chimi Lhakhang cafeteria en-route before continuing the journey towards Paro.

Day 10: Paro, Departure
After breakfast, drive to the airport for your onwards flight back home.
